Welcome to the Exclusive Sneak Peek: Dallin Holker, a Tight End from Colorado State. He is from Lehu, Utah, and was not recruited out of Lehu High School.

Holker began his collegiate career at BYU in 2018, where as a freshman he appeared in 12 games and caught 19 passes for 235 receiving yards and 1 touchdown.

His next season didn’t come until 2021 as he stepped away from the team and preserved his redshirt status. As a sophomore, he played in 13 games and caught 14 passes for 200 yards and 1 touchdown.

He was a junior for BYU in 2022 where he played in only 3 games due to an ankle injury and caught only 9 passes for 86 yards and 1 touchdown before transferring to Colorado State.

In 2023 as a member of the Colorado State Rams, he had his college breakout where in 12 games he caught 64 passes for 767 receiving yards and 6 touchdowns. After this breakout, he declared for the 2024 NFL Draft.

Holker is going to be a Day 3 guy and a developmental tight end, so for him to go to a team like Cincinnati that won’t need him to be a major contributor as a rookie is ideal.

Even if Tee Higgins moves on in free agency, the Bengal shave more than enough firepower to essentially redshirt Holker in Year 1 and that is a scenario he would greatly benefit from.
